The Corporation of the City of St. Catharines is inviting tenders for Third Street Louth Culvert Replacement & Road Resurfacing.  

This contract is for the supply and delivery of all labour, equipment and materials necessary for the replacement of Third Street Louth Culvert (Structure No. B028S).  The work consists of the removal of the existing steel reinforced concrete structure, wingwalls and headwalls; the removal of the top portions of the existing retaining wall at the southwest corner; construction of a new cast-in-place reinforced concrete box structure and wingwalls; construction of a new cast-in-place reinforced concrete retaining wall on the southeast corner; the removal and replacement of a driveway CSP; the construction of a new field access at the southwest corner and the resurfacing of Third Street Louth from south of the CNR tracks to St. Paul Street West. The road resurfacing shall include: full width milling (50 mm depth), 50 mm HL8HS, 50 mm HL3HS, shoulder sealing, and line painting.
