The Corporation of the City of St. Catharines is inviting tenders for the Stabilization of the Old Welland Canal Walls at various locks. Scope of work includes:
This contract is for the supply and delivery of all labour, equipment and materials necessary for the stabilization work at the Old Welland Canal Locks 10, 11, 12, 18, 19 & 20. The work of this project includes installing new armour stone walls, installing slope protection, stabilizing the walls with concrete, and installing new chain link fence.
There will be a MANDATORY SITE MEETING held on Thursday, July 9th at 2:00 PM SHARP. Biders are to meet at the Merritt Trail access off of Bradley St, across from Dundas Crescent.
