Scope of work for this Contract consists of the following major activities. Modernization of one (1) basement, geared, passenger elevator. Mechanical systems: machine room temperature controls. Two (2) Year Monthly maintenance following substantial completion, supply and installation of new lobby panel, Recladding hall entrances at all floors in stainless steel, and replacement of buffer channels. Electrical systems: grounding, power confirmation, disconnects, 120V circuits, emergency power, GFCI, lighting. Fire alarm systems: detectors, emergency phone system, remote monitoring, security. Certified engineering drawings for permits and construction.

Section 14200 Technical Specification are not included and will be added as an addendum .

Specifications and drawings may be downloaded free of charge from the City of St. Catharines https://stcatharines.bidsandtenders.ca, however In order to be eligible to submit a bid, bidders must register, and purchase the Bid Forms and submission envelopes from the City of St Catharines.  The Bid Forms may be picked up at the City of St Catharines, Transportation and Environmental Services Department, 50 Church Street, St. Catharines, Ontario, on Thursday August 2, 2018, upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $36.40 (includes H.S.T.). Tender documents may also be viewed at the same location.

A mandatory pre-bid visit and meeting for Bidders will be held at the site location at 50 Church Street, Merritt Room, St. Catharines, Ontario on Wednesday August 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Contractors not attending will not be eligible to submit a tender for this project.
