| Description: |
The Corporation of the City of St. Catharines is inviting tenders for upgrading the lighting at Ontario Street Parking Garage. The scope
of work includes: 1. Removal and replacement of the existing interior and exterior lighting as indicated in electrical drawings, including modifications and/or replacement to concrete bases for new pole lighting. 2. Removal and addition of exit running man signs as indicated in electrical drawings. 3. Completing any documentation, forms, disposal certificates etc. to be provided to IESO for ‘Save on Energy Retrofit Program’ Incentive. 4. A minimum of 4 weeks (20 business days) of after hours work (evenings or weekends) 5. Performing work while parking garage remains open 24 hours, 7 days a week 6. Coordination with City’s transportation department for construction phasing, including; 7. Completion of a staging/traffic management plan to be submitted to City for approval, prior to commencing work 8. Ensuring existing lighting is to remain and fully functioning until all new lighting has been installed and confirmed working; then demolition of existing lighting to begin. The work consists of all associated electrical and structural work. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at 9:00 am. |
