The Corporation of the City of St. Catharines is inviting Proposals for consulting services for the Pollution Prevention and Control Plan (PPCP) Update Study within the City of St. Catharines. A Pollution Control Plan (PCP) was originally developed for the City in 1990 and included a number of recommendations aimed at reducing Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO). The PCP has subsequently been updated with the most recent occurring in 2008. The PPCP Update Study will be an opportunity to summarize and evaluate structural and non-structural work that has been done to date; quantify the impacts of growth; re-evaluate alternatives to reduce the volume and frequency of CSOs; and provide long term strategies for the effective management of the wastewater collection system. The City is seeking Proposals from responsible bidders that have the necessary qualifications and experience to provide the Goods and Services sought.
