The Corporation of the City of St. Catharines is inviting tenders for the supply and installation of continuous timber fenders, along the west side of the Lakeside Park Pier in Port Dalhousie, including the following:
The owner will confirm the extent of the timber fender installation at the time of construction. The work of this contract may not include all three phases of the fender installation.
The owner will confirm the location of the lower timber fender at the time of construction. Lower timber fender installation will depend on water levels at the time of construction. Lower fenders may need to be installed underwater.
There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting held at Lakeside Park - 1 Lakeport Road on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 at 10:00AM ET SHARP.

The City has exercised the breakout prices in the RFT submission from the low bidder, 2220742 Ontario Ltd. o/a Bronte Construction, to bring the total within approved budget. The three breakout prices for the Phase 1 lower fender, Phase 2 lower fender, and Phase 3 lower fender have been subtracted from the tender price.
